PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

This policy explains the main categories of personal information handled through MHA Motors, why the information is used and the choices available to users. The exact data involved depends on which marketplace features you use.

Last updated 21 August 2026

1. Information you provide

  • Account details such as name, email, phone number and login information.
  • Trader profile, business, legal and contact information submitted through seller tools.
  • Vehicle enquiries, callback requests and Home Viewing booking information.
  • Customer reviews and trader responses.
  • Newsletter email addresses when you choose to subscribe.

2. Information generated through use of the service

The application may create technical logs, session data, timestamps, status history and records needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the marketplace.

3. Why information is used

  • To provide accounts, listings, trader pages, bookings, enquiries and review features.
  • To route a buyer’s request to the relevant trader.
  • To moderate reviews, claims and public marketplace content.
  • To secure the service, prevent misuse and diagnose technical problems.
  • To send marketplace updates when a user has chosen to subscribe.

4. Sharing with traders and service providers

When you contact a trader or request Home Viewing, the information needed to handle that request is made available to the relevant trader. Technical service providers may process information where necessary to host, secure or operate the platform.

5. Public information

Trader profiles, vehicle listings, approved reviews and trader responses are intended to be public. Direct customer contact information submitted through forms is not intended to be published as part of a review or booking.

6. Google Maps and external services

Trader pages may embed Google Maps or link to Google and other external services. Loading or opening those services can result in data being processed by the external provider under its own privacy policy.

7. Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the feature concerned, account administration, security, dispute handling, legal obligations and legitimate business records. Different record types may therefore have different retention periods.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe from marketing messages. Some records may need to be retained where there is a legal or security reason to do so.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect platform information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect account credentials and report suspicious activity promptly.

10. Contact

Use the Contact Us page for privacy or account questions. Where a request relates to information held independently by a trader, that trader may also need to respond directly.
